The Beginning

Knights & Summons — The Origin of the Multiverse
Before time.
Before space.
Before even thought itself.
There was only the Crystal Lotus.
An impossible object of living amber crystal drifting within the endless void beyond existence. It had no creator, no beginning, and no known purpose. It simply was.
And as long as the Lotus bloomed, existence continued.
From its crystalline petals scattered the Seeds of Life, fragments of creation cast outward into the emptiness. From these seeds came stars, worlds, dimensions, and realities beyond comprehension.
At the heart of the Lotus burned Amber — the primal essence of creation itself.
Amber was origin.
Amber was balance.
Amber was possibility.
Yet creation alone could not sustain existence.
And so from the Crystal Lotus emerged the first conscious beings ever born.
The Creation Triumvirate.
Goddess Kalia — Sovereign of Time.
Goddess Kyrie — Sovereign of Space.
The One Eternity — Embodiment of Life itself.
Together, they became the cosmic framework upon which all reality would be built.
Kalia gave existence progression.
Kyrie gave existence form.
Eternity gave existence purpose.
Without time, nothing could change.
Without space, nothing could exist.
Without life, creation held no meaning.
Under the guidance of the Triumvirate, the newborn multiverse began to stabilize.
And from the essence of Amber, the first attributes emerged.
Light and Dark.
The first opposing forces.
Light embodied order, hope, ascension, wisdom, and the flow of time.
Dark embodied ambition, instinct, entropy, survival, and destruction.
Neither was evil.
Both were necessary.
But the emergence of Light and Dark alone could not stabilize the rapidly expanding multiverse.
And so Amber intertwined with each force differently.
From the union of Amber and Dark came Earth and Fire.
Earth embodied endurance, instinct, permanence, and the physical strength of existence itself.
Fire embodied passion, destruction, transformation, and unrelenting ambition.
From the union of Amber and Light came Wind and Water.
Wind embodied freedom, spiritual flow, movement, and change.
Water embodied healing, adaptability, reflection, and the continuity of life.
Together, these six attributes formed the Inner Circle — the living structure of reality itself.
Each attribute possessed its opposite:
Light opposed Dark.
Water opposed Fire.
Earth opposed Wind.
And at the center of them all remained Amber.
But even with the attributes formed, existence remained fragile.
The Triumvirate understood that reality required guardians.
And so they created the first protectors of the multiverse.
The Primal Dragons.
The first was No Name Dragon.
Created through the essence of The One Eternity, No Name Dragon embodied physical existence itself — evolution, instinct, adaptation, survival, and the untamed growth of life across the multiverse.
Its true form constantly shifted beyond comprehension, as though it evolved endlessly even while being observed.
From its influence came the foundations of worlds, ecosystems, and primal life.
Where No Name Dragon traveled, worlds formed.
The second was Amber Core Dragon.
Created through the essence of Goddess Kalia, Amber Core Dragon embodied spiritual balance, destiny, cosmic harmony, and the endless flow of timelines.
It governed the balance between Light and Dark, hope and despair, order and chaos.
It was said Amber Core Dragon could peer through every possible future simultaneously, witnessing all beginnings and all endings at once.
It alone understood that creation and destruction could never truly exist apart from one another.
The third was Ultra Bound Dragon.
Created through the essence of Goddess Kyrie, Ultra Bound Dragon embodied dimensional boundaries, existence and nonexistence, and the separation between realities themselves.
It existed partially within creation…
and partially beyond it.
Neither fully attributed…
nor fully Unbound.
Ultra Bound Dragon became the living boundary between existence and the endless abyss beyond reality.
And for countless ages, the Primal Dragons maintained harmony across the expanding multiverse.
Worlds flourished.
Civilizations emerged.
Life spread endlessly throughout the Inner Circle.
But beyond the boundaries of creation…
there existed something else.
The Outer Ring.
The Unbound.
Where the Inner Circle represented identity, life, soul, and creation, the Outer Ring represented the complete absence of all attributes.
No natural life was ever meant to exist there.
No soul.
No destiny.
No form.
Yet somehow…
something endured.
Fragments of Ultra Bound Dragon’s essence had scattered into the Outer Ring long ago. Over countless ages these fragments gave rise to the first Unbound civilizations.
The Black Opal Races.
Beings born disconnected from the harmony of creation itself.
Some sought purpose.
Others sought annihilation.
Over time, the Unbound evolved into two opposing ideologies.
The Voidborn believed existence itself was flawed.
To them, all attributes were suffering.
They sought the complete eradication of the Inner Circle and the return of reality to absolute nothingness.
The Opalbound believed the opposite.
They viewed themselves as incomplete beings abandoned by creation.
They sought to absorb every attribute into themselves and transcend the limitations of existence itself.
Both paths led toward catastrophe.
And among the Unbound, one impossible being was born.
The Chaos King.
A being who should never have existed.
For within the soul of the Chaos King burned one of the purest sparks of Amber the multiverse had ever known.
A contradiction.
An Unbound being carrying the essence of creation itself.
To the Inner Circle, his existence was seen as an omen.
To the Unbound, he became proof that the Crystal Lotus had unjustly abandoned them.
As the Chaos King grew, so too did his questions.
Why were the Unbound denied entry into creation?
Why were they cast outside reality?
Why should only the attributed races possess souls, destiny, and purpose?
Over time, his search for answers became defiance.
And eventually, the Chaos King accomplished what even the Primal Dragons believed impossible.
Using the immense Amber power burning within him, he tore open the dimensional boundary separating the Inner Circle from the abyss beyond existence.
But beyond that boundary was not freedom.
Beyond it waited something far older.
The Qualia.
An incomprehensible extradimensional entity existing within the impossible gulf between universes themselves.
The Qualia was not born from the Crystal Lotus.
Nor from the Outer Ring.
It came from a place where existence had no meaning.
A place no soul was ever meant to reach.
The Primal Dragons had sensed its presence long before mortal civilizations ever emerged.
And for the first time since creation began…
the dragons feared something.
Long ago, Ultra Bound Dragon had partially sealed itself beyond the dimensional veil to stabilize reality and prevent the Qualia from entering existence.
But when the Chaos King shattered the boundary…
the seal broke.
And the first Age of Destruction began.
The Qualia emerged not through hatred…
but through inevitability.
Its presence alone unraveled reality.
Entire civilizations vanished without sound.
Time fractured.
Worlds folded into impossible geometries.
Souls dissolved before reaching the afterlife.
Even memory itself became unstable.
Reality did not burn in the Qualia’s presence.
It simply ceased to make sense.
And nowhere suffered more than the Wind Realms.
The Wind civilizations existed closest to the dimensional fractures between worlds, making them the first to encounter the Qualia directly.
The devastation was absolute.
Entire continents disappeared silently overnight.
Portal routes collapsed across countless dimensions.
Ancient skies twisted into impossible forms.
Histories erased themselves from existence.
Many surviving records from the Wind Realms simply end mid-sentence.
To this day, Wind remains the rarest attribute within the multiverse.
Not because Wind was weak.
But because it stood first against the impossible.
As existence spiraled toward collapse, the Creation Triumvirate awakened once more.
Yet even their divine power could not destroy the Qualia.
For the Qualia was not evil.
It was balance.
Where the Crystal Lotus represented endless creation…
the Qualia represented inevitable destruction.
A force of universal correction.
The ending to creation’s beginning.
Realizing the multiverse could not survive another uncontrolled breach between realities, the Triumvirate created a new system to stabilize existence itself.
Portals.
Controlled fractures between worlds allowing chosen individuals to safely traverse the multiverse without further damaging reality.
Only certain beings possessed the spiritual capacity necessary to awaken and control these Portals.
These individuals became known as Summoners.
Through Portals, Summoners could travel between dimensions, recruit allies, discover ancient relics, and forge contracts across realities themselves.
Knights became known as powerful warriors from throughout the multiverse — humanoid, beast, divine, monstrous, mechanical, or otherwise.
Summons became beings tied more closely to primal forces, spirits, ancient entities, and creatures beyond ordinary civilization.
Together, they became known simply as Allies.
But Portals demanded power.
Not physical power.
Soul power.
The spiritual essence released when powerful beings fell in battle.
These fragments became known as Soul Points.
To ordinary beings, Soul Points were remnants of life itself.
But to Summoners, Soul Points became the energy required to stabilize Portals, awaken ancient relics, resist the corruption of the Qualia, and temporarily impose their will upon reality itself.
Six Soul Points represented the completion of a Soul Cycle — the minimum spiritual threshold required to fully synchronize a Portal with its Summoner.
Thus, battles between Summoners became more than war.
They became struggles over the fate of existence itself.
Some fought to preserve balance.
Some sought transcendence.
Some wished to restore the lost Wind Realms.
Others believed the Chaos King had been right all along.
And somewhere beyond the dimensional veil…
the Qualia still waits.
Watching.
Hungering.
Or perhaps…
simply preparing for the day creation must end once more.
